“Play your Drive to the left side of the fairway to keep away from the bunkers down the right – the left hand bunker is a good line to choose. The second is to a green offset to the fairway and the pin is often tucked behind the bunker. Ideally play for the left edge of the green with a gentle fade.”
A tough start to the back nine. Accuracy off the tee is crucial to avoid the bunkers lining both sides of the fairway. The green area is still as modelled by Tom Dunn in the late 1800’s and is guarded by both a bunker on the right and some very challenging hollows to the left and rear.
