Welcome from the Captains

“We offer a very warm welcome to all our visitors and hope that you enjoy how the Club balances the important traditions of our past which include the Ryder Cup, Curtis Cup and a host of Professional tournaments, with the expectations of twenty first century golfers where we host top National and County Amateur events, the Yorkshire Challenge, the Heathland Classic as well as our regular Open events. In July 2017 we hosted the English Women’s Amateur Championship, in 2019 the Brabazon Trophy Qualifier, in 2020 the Club held the Yorkshire Amateur Championship, while in July 2022 we played host to the English Amateur Championships as well as being invited by the R&A to host the opening Regional Qualifier for the 150th Open Championship. For 2023, the R&A have followed up that honour with a request that we host the R&A Girls’ & Boys’ Home Internationals here at Lindrick 7-10th August 2023 and once again we were asked to host Regional Qualifying for the 151st Open Championship in June 2023.

We sincerely hope that you will take the opportunity to visit us and thoroughly enjoy the experience of a day at Lindrick.”

“I am honoured and delighted to be the Ladies’ Captain for 2023, the year when Lindrick hosts the R&A Girls’ & Boys’ Home Internationals here at Lindrick 7-10th August 2023. It will be an honour to represent the club and I will do my best to encourage potential new lady members during the year.”
